Volunteer: 2026 Polar Plunge | Wilson County

Join us for one of the coolest events of the year - literally! The 2026 Polar Plunge | Wilson County is a fun and energetic fundraising event where participants take a chilly dip to support Special Olympics Tennessee athletes. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a success!

Volunteer responsibilities include: 

Registration / Check-in Hospitality Set up / tear down cheer on plungers!  

No experience needed, just bring your energy and enthusiasm! 

What to Know Before You Arrive: 

Arrive 5 minutes early and check in at the registration desk  Please bring a photo ID for check-in - you will reserve a volunteer shirt  This event will be outdoors *Be aware of the weather and dress accordingly Free parking will be available on site. Recommend wearing athletic attire and comfortable, closed-toe shoes, as you'll be on your feet for most of the event  Bring a filled water bottle and stay hydrated  Volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or chaperone. Please contact the event coordinator to register them
