The F.I.N.D Design is looking for volunteers to act as Student Mentors for our girls! Student Mentors lead by example. To your two mentees, you will be a source for advice, a kind ear to listen to their problems, and a guide to show them the right way forward.
The ideal Student Mentor is open-minded, patient, and fun-loving! We want our girls to have a great time while learning essential life skills. By stepping into this role as an 'older sister' figure, you will be able to change the lives of our brown and black girls through mentorship.
What To Expect
- This role is for young women from the ages of 19-25 who have a standing interest in the betterment of girls of color.
- This would be either a 3-month (2 hours a week) or 6-month (1 hour a week) commitment starting March 1st.
- This is a hybrid (both in person and remote) volunteer opportunity.
- You will gain opportunities for personal and professional growth, cultural awareness, and the chance to help our girls reach their full potential!
