Why Is Stuff the Bus Important?
Families struggling to make ends meet often have to choose between buying school supplies or putting food on the table. United Way is committed to meeting the needs of this community and supporting our students to make sure they have what they need to start the school year ready to learn.
Thanks to the support of our community, the United Way of South Central TN's Stuff the Bus initiative has provided over 22,000 local students with school supplies since 2012.
Here’s How You Can Help
On July 25, 26, & 27, 2025, we are partnering with Wal-Mart (915 N Chancery St) during tax free weekend, to host our Stuff the Bus event for Warren Co Schools from 8:00am-8:00pm. Designated Collection Sites will collect items between now-July 27th, 2025. Sites will then bring their collected items to the McMinnville Wal-Mart location on July 25th, 26th, & 27th 2025.
Volunteers are needed to help all 3 days to load supplies on the bus and monitor the bus.
Together, we can ensure kids in Tullahoma have the supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn.
