Local agencies along with our Continuum of Care would like to ask our community for assistance to conduct our annual HUD Point in Time Count, "You Count." This annual event is conducted throughout Rutherford County, to complete a census of those experiencing homelessness.
This count will take place beginning the evening of Monday, January 23, 2023 to the evening of January 24th. Volunteers are needed for this "You Count" campaign to interview the those experiencing homelessness within all municipalities of our county.
Volunteers will be grouped with leaders of our local outreach agencies. Volunteers will be asked to participate in the community trainings prior to the day of count. Tuesday January 17 from 5:00pm-6:30pm at Murfreesboro Cold Patrol located at 800 Park Ave N. Volunteers are required to have a mobile device. All Volunteers are also asked to sign the attached waiver. Volunteer shifts are listed.

We are asking Volunteers to check in at Murfreesboro Police Dept. located at 1004 N. Highland Ave (Training Room) 15 mins prior to start time. Volunteers will receive outreach items, Volunteer tshirt, and have a chance to ask any questions prior to beginning.
