Reading Day, sponsored by Atmos Energy, is an opportunity to get out in the community and read to children! Volunteers will meet for refreshments, a brief program, and to get their school assignment. Read to Succeed is hosting the kick-off at 3:30pm and providing programming AND books for volunteers to give to give to every child they read to. United Way is partnering with Murfreesboro City Schools, the Boys and Girls Club, and the Ann Campbell Early Childhood Center to read to children in their afterschool care programs.
