Monday and Tuesday we prepare items for the week (chopping, slicing of vegetables).  The cook does his weekly shopping on these mornings so needs assistance to make sure that food is being prepped to that he is able to make sure meals are ready to be served by 5 pm daily.

Training and demonstration will be provided. All tools provided. 

Tuesdays we pick up Chick-Fil-A.  The items need to be sorted, bagged and properly dated and put away.  Jason Wagner supervises the process.

Help prepare, serve, and clean up nightly meal for for people experiencing food insecurity.  Community meal is served at 5 pm every night. Volunteer shift is from 4 pm to 6:15 pm every day of the week.  Go to Salvation Army Murfreesboro website and sign up.

Food is served inside to the residents, and outside as to-go boxes to community members that come for dinner. - Best to have 2 people outside.

Answer the phone at the front desk, respond to visitors at the front door via the intercom.

Minor clerical tasks.   

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets.
