Green Interchange

Green Interchange is a community-driven nonprofit working to restore tree canopy and strengthen environmental health across Tennessee. We partner with residents, volunteers, and local organizations to make native tree planting accessible, affordable, and rooted in environmental justice. Together, we’re growing greener, healthier neighborhoods for everyone.

Green Interchange works to reconnect communities and nature by planting native trees where people live, learn, work, and travel. We partner with local residents, volunteers, and organizations to create healthier, more resilient neighborhoods—especially in places that have been historically overlooked. Through accessible tree-planting programs, environmental education, and collaborative stewardship, we’re building a greener, more equitable Tennessee for everyone.
