Presented by
Program Partners,
You're invited to the United Way Catalyst Community Connector Event to meet the 2017 Catalyst class!
The Catalyst Program is a six month program that helps train nonprofit volunteer leaders of tomorrow! The program's ultimate goal is to train volunteers to serve in nonprofit leadership roles, such as nonprofit boards, in Rutherford and Cannon Counties.
The June session will first consist of their Recognition of Achievement and Presentations of Group Projects. This year's project was provided by City Mayor Shane McFarland around the topic of improving transportation throughout Murfreesboro. Each Catalyst group will spend 10 minutes sharing with the audience their ideas to help this growing issue.
Immediately following, our Program Partners will each take 2 minutes to share information regarding their agency and Board member needs. Catalyst members will have the opportunity to visit with the agencies they are interested in serving, and you will have the opportunity to recruit for your Board.
You are welcome to join us for the group presentations or arrive specifically for the Connector event.
More specific times will be provided at a future date. For now, please note 7:30am-10am and RSVP if your agency plans to attend as there is limited availability. Please send only 1 representative from each agency.
The event will take place at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
