Why Is Stuff the Bus Important?
Families struggling to make ends meet often have to choose between buying school supplies or putting food on the table. United Way is committed to meeting the needs of this community and supporting our students to make sure they have what they need to start the school year ready to learn.
Thanks to the support of our community, the United Way of South Central TN's Stuff the Bus initiative has provided over 22,000 local students with school supplies since 2012.
Here’s How You Can Help
On July 17, 2025, we are partnering with Chick-fil-A, to host our Stuff the Bus event for Coffee Co and Manchester City Schools from 4:30pm-7:30pm. Designated Collection Sites will collect items between now-July 17th, 2025. Sites will then bring their collected items to Chick-fil-A Manchester location on July 17th, 2025.
Volunteers are needed to help load supplies on the bus and unload supplies after the event at First Baptist Church (1006 Hillsboro Blvd, Manchester).
Together, we can ensure kids in Tullahoma have the supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn.
