We are in need of several volunteer assistants to help us with the Stuff the Bus school supply intake.
What is Stuff the Bus?
Stuff the Bus (#STB2017) is an annual event in which companies and partners around the community focus on collecting school supplies for children in grades K-5 who might not otherwise be able to afford them. Could you imagine your classmate next to you having all their school supplies to start their first day, but you don't have anything? We don't want any child to start their new school year off without needed supplies.
Here's how you can help:
Friends and companies within the community will be dropping off all their collected supplies to Hobgood Elementary on July 25th (3pm-5pm) and July 26th (8am-10am), and we need your help unloading vehicles, confirming the number of items coming in, and possibly sorting miscellaneous items. You are welcome to come as an individual volunteer or with a few friends. We will need 3-5 volunteers each shift.
