We are looking for a team of volunteers to provide dinner assistance for Born Learning Academy Workshops. The volunteer commitment is from 5:00-6:00 on Wednesdays at Black Fox Elementary. Volunteers will assist with dinner set-up, service, and minimal clean-up.
This is a great way to interact with the families we are serving and support the Born Learning program.
The United Way Born Learning Academy offers tips, tools and resources to make sure kids are ready to learn when they start kindergarten. It's a series of six free workshops that help turn everyday activities into early learning moments. Parents and caregivers with a child who hasn't yet entered Kindergarten and/or parents-to-be who are expecting a child are invited to register for the Academy. Workshops are held in the evening at Northfield Elementary. We provide dinner and fun childcare during each session.
This Academy will be held at Black Fox Elementary from 5:30-7:00 pm on the following dates: February 12, 19, 26 and March 5,12, 19
