The Child Advocacy Center is seeking volunteers to help with food prep and food service during our end of summer party Light Up the Night! Volunteers will arrive at 5:30 to help with set up, serve appetizers to guests until 8:45pm and help clean up until 9:30pm. There are two shifts available if you can only make it for a few hours, and we welcome folks to stay the whole time!
When: Friday, September 6th, 2024
- Shift 1: 5pm-7pm
- Shift 2: 7pm-9:30pm
Where: Oakland's Mansion at 900 N. Maney Ave Murfreesboro, TN 37130
Tasks: Volunteers will help set up tables and decorations starting at 5pm, help prepare food in the kitchen, serve appetizers to guests, and second shift will serve food to guests and help clean up and tear down decorations.
Dress Code: Comfortable shoes, black shirt/top suggested. Comfort is key!
About the CAC: The CAC crisis intervention services for child abuse victims, child sexual abuse victims, and children exposed to their parent’s drug use and child sexual abuse prevention training.
